Peter Maly, R.D.O.
A licensed optician since 1988, has owned and operated Charlton Optical for nearly twenty years. With thirty years experience in the optical profession, he specializes in working with the most difficult prescriptions and speciality lenses. His expertise ranges from the actual grinding of the prescription lenses, to edging finished lenses into the frame, all which are conducted at our location. Peter specializes in designing custom lenses for your particular needs. Peter has always prided himself in providing the community with quality eyewear, great service and fair prices.
Dr. Firas Kassira, O.D.
Dr. Firas Kassira, O.D., is a graduate of George Mason University where he obtained his BS degree in Biology and an interest in eye health and vision science. This led him to the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA where he obtained his doctorate in Optometry.
Dr. Kassira has over 20 years of experience in a multi-specialty private practice with an emphasis in the diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular disease, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Kassira also co-manages cataract surgery, refractive surgery and glaucoma with several ophthalmologists. He also has extended study and experience in specialty fitting of contact lenses and low vision aides. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Massachusetts Society of Optometry. He is board certified and licensed in the State of Massachusetts.
Dr. David Snowdon O.D. Dr. David Snowdon is a graduate of Tufts University, Medford, MA with a BS in Biology. He continued his education at the New England College of Optometry, graduating with a Doctor of Optometry Degree, studying general optometry and low vision. With over 30 years experience practicing in Worcester County, he maintains a busy practice at Charlton Optical.
At Charlton Optical Dr. Snowdon sees patients of all ages, it is a family practice of general optometry, diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions, prescribing both eyeglasses and contact lenses. Dr. Snowdon is especially interested in cataract prevention and safety eye wear, whether for sports or work site.
